Hiroyasu Ishida’s “Fumiko’s Confession”

My boyfriend showed me this very adorably cute and visually stunning short animation clip and I just want to share it with you all.

The story is about this girl, Fumiko who asks the boy to go out with her. He rejected her immediately, saying that he wants to really focus on baseball. Then she cries and flies (literally) through the town in the process and bumps into the same boy again. How he gets there is beyond me :) She asks him again one more time, promising to make him miso soup everyday if he goes out with her. Still, he refuses her with the same reason he says earlier.

This clip’s color schemes and simple story line really makes my mind calm and brings a smile to my face. Fumiko, you go girl, you’re amazing!! I want to fly and land on my sweetheart too!
