SF Fashion Week 2011 – Emerging Designers Fashion Show Review
Compared to the grandeur of Mélange Fashion Show last week, Friday 8/12 showcase of San Francisco Fashion Week’s Emerging Designers at Madrone Studios were very intimate and simple. And there’s nothing wrong with that. The ambiance was nice, light snacks and drinks were provided free of charge, and the fashion show started on time. YES! Overall, the emerging designers brought forth the goods and successfully reassured me that San Francisco fashion scene will continue to inspire the rest of the country (and beyond) for many years to come. Congratulations and huge thanks to SFFAMA for making this SF Fashion Week happen.

Fashion Mash-Up: Why Blog about Fashion
I haven’t been able to come to this Fashion Mash-Up (one more reason why I want to live in the city), but I feel very inclined to spread the word, especially since the discussion will be about fashion blogging :)
SFFAMA, along with Fashion Blogger Connect, is going to hold another “Fashion Mash-Up: Fashion & Tech Workshop Series” event tomorrow night, Nov. 18, 2010, on 5:30-8:30pm at Pigment Cosmetics, One Market Street (Studio 2), San Francisco.
Admission is $5 for SFFAMA Ning members or $10 for Non-Members.

Pret-A-Porter San Francisco 2010 Review
SFFAMA had been promoting its Pret-A-Porter San Francisco event for a while before I abruptly decided to check it out last Saturday at Press Club. Sponsored by the club, 7×7, Elizabeth Arden: Red Door, and SF Indie Fashion, the fashion show was a delightful eye-opener for me to see a glimpse of what San Francisco fashion designers are capable of.
