Thanks to this airline fashion slide show from MSNBC, now I can understand Flight of the Conchord‘s lyric of “You’re so beautiful…You could be an air hostess in the sixties” on their song The Most Beautiful Girl.
Looking through this slide show and recalling the ill-fitting pants and shirts a flight attendant was wearing during my last flight to whatever, I truly wish the glamour days of air hostess fashion hits the airplane’s aisle catwalk. Then perhaps people would pay more attention to the in-flight safety instructions. Not with gimmicks of Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” dance demo or remarkable rap skills, but basic demonstration skills. I know I’d be :)
Have a safe flight,
It feels like I’ve been asleep for so long…but in reality, work has been so taxing to my brain that I had to take a break from fafafoom for a while. But today, my mind is clear and I’m starting to feel the 2010 nostalgia slowly but surely. After all, it’s 7 days away from 2011.
So, starting from today, I’ll post the many incredible online sites, pictures, inspirations, fashion, or travel places that I have found myself fascinating over this year. And what better way to start than heading to MSNBC’s “The Year in Pictures – 2010″ ? Gorgeous, sad, funny, but always everlastingly rich pictures that’ll take you through 2010 in one quick zoom. And you can vote for your favorite too!
The picture above is one of my favorite….it’s so beautiful but nostalgic… my perfect mood of this moment.
Happy Holidays everyone,
A picture can say a thousand words. For this reason alone, I LOVE LOVE looking at great pictures, no matter if they’re product catalog pictures (hey, this girl loves shopping), art galleries, Japanese style magazines, or photoblogs.
One of them is this photoblog at MSNBC. Always filled with pictures from a wide range of subjects, I am always entertained whenever I stop by this blog. Sometimes it’s nature, other times sports, war, politics, or some happenings in various parts of the world. Check it out whenever you have the chance and may your mind and imagination wonder boundlessly.
Have a great Wednesday,
Hardware accessories are one of the coolest things in the world (at least for me). Chunky and bold, sometimes they’re mixed with ribbons so it’s a bit more girly. Now I was pleasantly surprised to see this MSNBC post recently about DIY hardware accessories, because there are many great ideas here: http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/39075822/ns/today-today_fashion_and_beauty. I may start going to Home Depot to get my supplies!
And for those of you who live in San Francisco, 7×7.com lists cool places to enroll for DIY Classes, so you can zoom from a complete beginner to a sewing wizard!
That reminds me that I have to finish my reconstructed sweater,
