I have loved Anne Sofie Madsen garments since the first time I knew about the brand. The complex mixture of materials and layers make for Frankenstein-like ensemble at times, yet they are always beautiful and intriguing to behold.
It’s no wonder that after 3 short years of launching her line, she was invited as an official member of the Ready-to-Wear calendar in Paris in 2014. You might have seen her designs in publications such as V magazine, WWD, Love and CR Fashion Book, or worn by celebrities and artists like Rihanna, MØ, Ciara and Oh Land.
Anne Sofie Madsen Resort 2016 collection follows through the complexity and intrigue instilled by her past collections. While the oversized trench coat is the biggest draw for me, the dresses are not to be underestimated. Bold, fresh, fearless…her always-confident fashion sense is clearly reflected in this selection of garments.
