For Dancing with the Stars fans, the name Cheryl Burke is an absolute no brainer. The gorgeous Bay Area native and two-time Dancing with the Stars champion has her biography “Dancing Lessons” published last year and now she’s launched her activewear line Ideology at Macy’s.

Last Saturday, February 18, a fashion presentation event featuring a ballroom dancing performance, an Ideology line fashion show, and a meet-and-greet book signing session was held at Macy’s Union Square (4th floor) at 2 p.m.

I found out about the event from 7×7 Style Radar roughly two hours before the event and just impulsively decided to stop by since we’re about to meet friends in SF Downtown anyway :)

The ballroom dance performance featuring Cheryl’s students were fantastic, and Cheryl herself looked as gorgeous in person as she always is on TV. Energetic and eager to emphasize the performance, function, fashion, and affordability of Ideology line. The pieces are sold mostly under $50 and promise high performance and comfort.

For someone who dislike gym (I wore my vintage Calvin Klein to do small hikes in Yellowstone, for example), seeing Ideology pieces did make me think twice about not adding more workout-friendly outfits in my wardrobe. Perhaps in the near future? Plus, Cheryl’s my favorite Dancing with the Stars pro! Why not, huh?

Below are some pictures that my photographer Christian Hadidjaja took during the show. It’s very lovely seeing familiar faces walking down the runway. Beautiful models!

Good luck with the Ideology line Cheryl, and always the best of luck in the next season of Dancing with the Stars!

Until next time,
Musank
